The Indwelling Friend Within"

.....For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." Luke.17:21 The Spirit within is our Friend. The Messiah called his followers his friends, and He told them it was important for Him to go away so He could send them the Comforter, who would dwell in them. The Spirit within is our friend. How great value we place on friendship will determine how we value our relationship with the Spirit. A real friend is one who cuts covenants with you, promising not to leave you when you are facing trouble. One of my favorite definitions of a friend is "one who see you through and through and understands the things you do, and keeps on pulling just for you." When we walk in the Spirit, we are never without a friend. Never! When we feel lonely, it may be because we are looking only to people for friendship, without reckoning that the One who dwells in us comes to bring us divine fellowship with the Godhead.
